Re-Entry Program for Adults

A re-entry pilot in Michigan using Living Consciously as their core curriculum reports these results for one year of programming:

  8.3% recidivism, at 16-28 months
  27.7% improvement in employability
  25.5% improvement in decision-making
  25.1% improvement in self-sufficiency
  29.1% improvement in personal ethics

22.7% improvement in resistance to violence

23.1% improvement in anger management and reduction

What kind of impact would results like these have in the lives of the people you serve?

These comments tell the human side of the story:

Program Manager:  All our clients who have had Living Consciously are miles ahead of the others in commitment, maturity, follow-through, staying power and employability.

Client Participants:

Patrick:  Living Consciously has changed my life in a profound way.  Something needed to change, but I didn't realize it was me!  I was the only person who was holding me back.

Charles:  When I entered this class I had my doubts.  Now, I would
recommend this class to anyone who wants to start controlling their own life.

Larry:  I needed this  class 30 years ago!

Kendra:  Living Consciously helped me find myself again!

David:  Living Consciously helped me realize the power that can come from our spirit and  mind.  With that I’m building a new life.

Adjudicated Youth

A county court system reviewed the Living Consciously curriculum and

approved it for their new adjudicated youth program.  Here are highlights of their first year results, achieved by LC-trained educator facilitators.  The program is, of course, being continued.

(PLEASE NOTE:  Most school districts, which have improvement targets for programs, look for a 3% - 5% improvement over a year for regular education student populations.)
